“Take a girl’s heart”, Magnificent Game Was Started

JOO (Gim Hyun-Seong), a delivery man who is addicted to a game bought a lighter from the little match girl(Lim Eun-Kyung). JOO can access Interactive game through telephone number written on the lighter. The objective of the game is to take a love of the little match girl and kill him without pain. JOO is in the same team with LALA(Jin Sing), the Woman Warrior. They have a fight with gangsters who try to kidnap the little match girl over ‘System’.

The Little Match Girl can be resurrected? There are the maximum production of 11 billion won in Korean movies and inconsonant manufacturing process. Directed by Jang Sun-Woo, ‘Resurrection of the Little Match Girl’ will be released on September 13.

This movie contains a virtual reality & actual reality, action type and a spiritual power on physical strength like ‘Matrix’, Hollywood movie. It is same as ‘Kitsch version’ of Matrix.

The intentional frivolity of the game such as gaudy color screen & clothes and an aggregated dialog and action is compared with a sad reality. The little match girl is trying to revolt with a gun on ‘Game Stage 2’ of the movie. A description on violation and unconcern is stronger than any direct speaking on reality.

The movie has the large scale of actions by showing a helicopter. However, instead of refined and delicate actions, Kitsch exaggeration decreases a tension of actions. Some experts said that it is not easy to take good response of audiences because there is a weak dramatic element such as love between the little match girl and Juno(Kangta).

The director, Jang Sun-Woo presented two versions including ‘Sad version with ‘Game Over’ and a happy ending version with ‘You Win’. The related persons said that it was the open structure accepted variously. The movie can make audiences to think about a meaning between virtual reality and actual reality.

The film producers wrote “The success and failure of the move depends on how to take three elements of public enjoyment, philosophical depth and formal experiment. It is a time to ask the same questions to itself. This movie is available for over 15 years old people.
