GNP to Probe the Lay-off by the Labor’s Political Disposition in Public Enterprises

The Grand National Party decided to conduct the inspection of the administration and fact-finding on the restructuring after reading the report of Dong-A Ilbo (March 22nd A1page) that Korean Cable Communications Commission as well as Korea Racing Association took the political inclination as the criteria for the lay-off in restructuring human resource.

Yim Tae-Hee chief of the 2nd Policy Coordination in GNP on the 22nd said, “standing committees of Congress will probe the true picture by requesting materials showing the standards and principles on the restructure of human resource to the public enterprises under the jurisdiction of each committee. ”

Mr. Yim added, “it would make the labors of public enterprises so nervous to take personal political disposition as the criteria of restructuring. To make it not to happen again, Congress will probe the incident and reveal the truth. ”
