Yahoo Will Charge Fees Onto E-mail, Storage

According to the Wall Street Journal on 21st, Yahoo, a leading internet portal site (http://www.yahoo.com) decided to implement fees for the people who check their Yahoo e-mail messages from outside services.

Beginning April 24, Yahoo will charge $29.99 (about 39,000 won) per year for the users who check Yahoo e-mail from outside servers, such as `Eudora` and `Outlook.` The Journal said that Yahoo has been in a management difficulty due to the sharp decrease of web advertisements and prepared this measure as an effort to boost non-advertising revenue.
