High Prosecution Officials Will Be Summoned Soon

With regard to the investigation on the leaking of investigation process to Lee Soo-Dong, then standing executive of KDJPF in November last year, Special Prosecution learned that a high prosecution official had frequent phone calls with Mr. Lee through an analysis of the phone call record.

Consequently, the Special Prosecution (SP) will summon the high official as soon as it takes over the phone call records of Mr. Lee`s 2 mobile phones to learn additional evidences.

SP also grilled Mr. Lee S. D. why the documents about the press reformation and the power continuation confiscated in his house were created and by whom. But Mr. Lee reportedly refused to testify.

SP is also analyzing 2 hard disks and various documents confiscated from the office of an S music broadcasting company, a private office in Yeoksam and the house of Kim Sung-Hwan in Bangbae-dong.

Kim Sung-Hwan disappeared after SP revealed that a check of 100 million won from his hidden account flew into the accounts of the Lee Soo-Dong couples and the related officials of KDJPF.

Noting on the fact that the check was issued to Lee Soo-Dong early last year, SP suspects the explanation of KDJPF hardly believable that Kim Sung-Hwan lent 100 million won to Kim Hong-Up and the money was used for the account settlement for retirement allowances this year. SP is currently concentrating on the arrest of Kim Sung-Hwan and the clarification of the sources and the purposes of the money.
