Kidnapped Reporter

A group calling itself `The National Movement for the Restoration of Pakistani Sovereignty` sent e-mails saying American Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl has been kidnapped to the major American news presses such as the New York Times, the Washington Post, and the L.A. Times. The e-mails included three photographs of the reporter Pearl showing a pistol pointed at his head, with his wrists chained and holding the Pakistani daily newspaper, `Dawn`.
