The Opposition Party Commented,“Didn`t Realize the Seriousness of the Corruption“

Nam Kyung-Pil, the spokesperson of the Grand National Party, commented on President Kim Dae-Jung`s New Year`s news conference on the 14th, " It was lucky to reflect on the past even though it was late, but it is unfortunate for the government not to realize the seriousness of this regime`s general corruption and offer only superficial solutions."

Jeong Jin-Seuk, the spokesperson of United Liberal Democrats, said, "I see the President`s expression of his firm will for exposing corruption and apologizing to the nation in a positive light." And Lee Nak-Yon, the spokesperson of the New Millennium Democratic Party, evaluated, "I affirm the President`s will, `I will personally take care of the stabilization and improvement of livelihood for the middle classes and the working classes` ."
