Al Jazeera, an Arabic satellite broadcast, aired a part of the video tape that seemed to be a recent recording of bin Laden, who has disappeared after the breakdown of the Afghanistan regime on 26th. CNN also reported the news after receiving the material from Al Jazeera.
The videotape of bin Laden was previously released on Nov. 3rd. bin Laden insisted in this tape that "3 months after the attack on the international gentiles, their leaders and the U.S., and 2 months after the beginning of the evil invasion against the Islam have passed." hinting that the tape was recorded early this month.
The chief editor of Al Jazeera, Ihrahim Hillal, said, "We received this tape a few days ago via air mail from Pakistan but the person and the date of recording are not revealed."
Bin Laden denounced in the tape that "the Americans showed crusades hostility against Islam and committed crimes against the Afghanistan people. The terror against the U.S. is an act of blessing."
However, White House spokesperson commented, "It is only the same terror propaganda that we have been hearing." The U.S. government refrains from comments but is astonished by the release of the video tape of bin Laden, who has disappeared.
