The floor leader of the Grand National Party (GNP) Lee Jae-Oh and the United Liberal Democrats (ULD)`s floor leader Lee Wan-Gu held a meeting yesterday and decided to push for a Special Prosecutor System to investigate the financial scandal and the suspicion of lobbying activities of the G&G chairperson Lee Yong-Ho.

The two floor leaders agreed to push for the revision of law that requires consent from the National Assembly in order to use the Inter-Korean Exchange Cooperation Fund, and the revision of the Broadcasting Act. The two also agreed to seek to extend the retirement age of teachers to 63 from the current 62 at the general meeting of the National Assembly.

Lee Wan-Gu said after the meeting that ``the two parties decided to discuss the specific time to introduce the Special Prosecutor System while watching the investigation process of the Prosecution. We decided to discuss more on whether the Special Prosecutor System will become a permanent system since this issue can greatly affect the current judicial system.``

The two parties decided to discuss the issues of the National Assembly`s consent on the use of the Inter-Korean Exchange Cooperation Fund and the revision of the Broadcasting Act at the future meeting after the Assembly`s audit is over, since these issues are important.
