The most Asian stock markets headed down yesterday including the Nikkei index, which recorded the lowest in past 16 years.
The sales orders of the high-tech industries and the large banks have rushed into the Tokyo stock market right after the opening of the market yesterday by the stockholders` disappointment about the G8 summit talks, which ended without any detail measure about the global economy. The Nikkei index renewed its lowest record (11,819.70 yen) in the past 15 years in March, plunging to 11,609.63 yen, which is 298.76 down from the past weekend. This the lowest record since January 1985.
Most other Asian stock markets in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand followed the down way of Japan. The Taiwan Index (TWI) also recorded 68.40 down to 4,151.93.
