Increased Victims of Flood Damage Toll 58 Lives

The deaths and those who are missing by the localized torrential rain in the Central area counted the tolls of the total 58 lives, including 49 deaths and 9 missing.

According to the interim sum of the National Disaster Prevention and Countermeasures Headquarters yesterday, 21 people were killed by electric shock. The loss of properties amounted 53.6 billion won in Kyonggi, 6.7 billion in Kyongbuk, 4.7 billion in Seoul, 4.4 billion in Kangwon, and 1 billion in Incheon. Therefore, the total loss of properties has increased to 70.7 billion won.

Jinburyong area of Route 46, which was blocked by the stone-slide accident, is currently allowed for one-way traffic but the full recovery of the road is expected to be delayed until 21st due to the danger of additional stone-slides.
