KCTU demonstration at Pupyong Station shuts down trains

About 1,000 Korea Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) members and university students staged a demonstration at Pupyong Railroad Station in Inchon Wednesday night, voicing their opposition to the resumption of operations at Daewoo Motor`s Pupyong factory. Clashes between police and protesters resulted in a 30-minute suspension of rail service on the Kyongin Line, causing serious inconvenience to commuters.
