A computer lottery by the Korea National Red Cross Friday chose 200 candidates for the third family exchange scheduled for late February. The list of those candidates will be exchanged for one from North Korea for reconfirmation through identification and location. Among the 200 are eight people representing the families of Southern prisoners of war believed to be still held in North Korea and South Korean civilians abducted to the North, Red Cross officials here said.
The lottery was drawn on 210 applicants out of the original 300 as 90 withdrew voluntarily or were found physically unfit for visitation.
