4th photo-history volume available

The Government Information Agency published Thursday the fourth volume of the "Journey into Modern Korea through Photographs," a photo history of modern Korea that carries photos of various political, social and cultural happenings in Korea for the past 60 years.

The book contains a total of 437 photos, which include shots of the devastation left by the Typhoon Sarah, the April 19 student uprising following the March 15 rigged elections, the retirement from the Presidential Office by President Rhee Seung-Man along with the funeral photo of a lawmaker at the time Lee Ki-Boeung, the rise of the second republic and President Yoon Bo-Sun, along with the Prime Minister Chang Myun.
