A concert in memory of late Kim Cha-Kyung, a lifetime prima donna of opera, will feature appearances by 30 or so soloists such as sopranos Park Mi-Hye and Song Kwang-Sun, and mezzo-sopranos Kim Hyun-Joo and Chang Hyun-Joo.
Also appearing will be a soloist ensemble, a prima donna ensemble, and the choir of disciples of Kim Cha-Kyung.
The concert will be held 7 p.m. Dec. 13 at the Seoul Arts Center Concert Hall and sponsored by the Korean Opera Lovers Association.
The first half of the concert will showcase parts of Verdi`s "La Traviata," her personal favorite, with the second half showcasing Pucini`s "La Boheme" and Rossini`s "The Barber of Seville," as well as various other highlights of opera masterpieces.
