Final four head to Cheju Island

The 2000 FA Cup Soccer Championship will feature the showdown of the final four -- Songnam Ilhwa-Pusan Icons and Puchon SK-Conbuk Motors.

The semifinals will be held Dec. 3, and the finals Dec. 5 on Cheju Island.

Defending champion Songnam on Thursday joined the final four with a dramatic golden goal by Kim Dae-Ui in overtime after a 2-2 draw in regulation time against last year¡¯s Korean League champion Anyang LG. In the second quarterfinals, the Pusan Icons stopped Ulsan Hyundai with the winning goal by Jeon Woo-Keun that came 22 minutes into the second half.

Puchon SK also advanced to the semifinals with a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over Suwon Samsung. Lee Won-Shik and Anh Seung-In scored for Puchon.

Chonbuk Motors also came from behind to beat Pohang Steelers 2-1 with an overtime gold goal by Kim Dae-Shik.
