SNU opens Japanese classes

From the first semester of the next school year at Seoul National University (SNU), Japanese will become a part of the curriculum as a second language course, while Korean will be taught at Tokyo University. In addition, SNU will dispatch Korean language experts to Japan and Tokyo University will send Japanese experts to SNU.

This is the first measure taken in the two nations¡¯ effort to bolster academic exchanges since their joint declaration in terms of academic programs being implemented.
