Medical Reform Inspection Board formed

Seeking an early settlement to the discontent arising from the proposed reform of the medical system, the government convened the Medical Reform Inspection Board July 19, which consists of representatives from Chong Wa Dae`s Administrative Coordination Office, the Ministry of Public Finance, and the Ministry of Health and Welfare. The Inspection Board will be headed by Park Won-Chool, coordinator for social and cultural affairs at the Administrative Coordination Office.

The inspection board plans to meet at least once a week to discuss problems that surface in the course of implementing medical reform and to brainstorm coordinated countermeasures.
