Six Japanese scholars, including Wada Haruki, honorary professor in Tokyo University, Unno Huzuku, honorary professor in Meiji University, Takasaki Soji, professor in Sutajuku University, delivered a document of protest, which criticizes the rejection of the revise of the history textbooks, to Toyama Asuko Minister of Education, Science, Sports, and Culture.

In a document of protest, they say that ``although the Ministry of Education, Science, Sports, and Culture rejected the demand for revision based on the experts` opinion, descriptions of many parts, including the annexation of Korea-Japan, are clearly wrong in light of the established theory of history.``

They, who announced 51 items of problems in the history textbooks in April, urged for the revision of the history textbooks arguing that ``we have found 17 additional mistakes and there is a total of 106 mistakes, including 48 mistakes which were announced by the 23 history related academic circles.``
