Temperatures will be low on the day of this year’s college entrance exams the same as it was in previous years. The Korea Meteorological Administration says the mercury will plunge on November 13, when the College Scholastic Aptitude Test for 2015 will be held, following warmer weather over the weekend.

On the day of the exam, a high pressure front in the northwest will make skies clear but the highest daytime temperature will be 1-4 degrees Celsius lower than on previous years, making for a chilly day. Seoul’s lowest temperature on that day will be 3 degrees, with the highest temperature in the daytime 10 degrees, 2 degrees lower than on previous years. Busan will see 0-15 degrees, Gwangju 4-12 degrees, Jeonju 3-10 degrees, Daejeon 2-11 degrees, Cheongju 2-12 degrees, Chuncheon -1-9 degrees, Gangneung 5-10 degrees and Jeju 9-14 degrees. Strong winds are expected to create low wind chill values.
