Swimming for Unification

Some 140 swimmers jump into the river for a 600-meter race Sunday morning at the Imjin River Swimming Competition for Korean Unification in Paju, Gyeonggi Province. More than 1,000 people, including Gyeonggi Gov. Kim Moon-soo, Paju Mayor Lee In-jae and residents, attended the swimming event, which was held for the first time since the division of Korea.
