Former Prime Minister Han Myeong-sook of the main opposition Democratic Party and Lee Sang-kyu of the progressive Democratic Labor Party, both of whom are running for Seoul mayor, hold hands Friday after agreeing to field a unified candidate for both parties. They agreed to form a joint steering committee for municipal administration attended by the labor party and civic groups if Han wins the mayorship. Rep. Roh Hoi-chan of the New Progressive Party, however, will run for mayor.
