AP Names Tiger Woods Athlete of the Decade

The Associated Press yesterday named golf icon Tiger Woods athlete of the decade despite his troubled personal life.

In a vote by editors of AP member dailies, Woods received 56 out of 142 votes, far ahead of runner-up Lance Armstrong, who got 33.

News also broke that Woods had affair with more mistresses. Star magazine cited a person close to him saying pop singer Jessica Simpson had maintained a secret relationship with Woods since June.

The source said the two fell in love that month after Simpson attended a PGA Tour event in which Woods played.

RadarOnline.com, a news site on celebrities, said Woods’ 14th mistress was Theresa Rogers, who is 14 years older than him and the oldest among his femme fatales. The report said the two began their relationship before he got married and allegedly had a 5-year affair, adding she taught him to be a great lover in bed.
