64th UN Day Ceremony

A ceremony yesterday celebrates the 64th United Nations Day at the U.N. Memorial Park in Busan, a day ahead of the world body’s anniversary. The event was attended by Busan Mayor Huh Nam-shik and diplomats from 21 countries. Escorted by soldiers clad in traditional Korean uniforms, the national flags of the 11 countries that sent troops to the Korean War and memorial tablets are brought to the ceremony.
