Rays Tie Up World Series, 4-2

The Tampa Bay Rays have tied the World Series of American baseball against the Philadelphia Phillies, winning Game 2, 4-2, yesterday at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Rays pitcher James Shields led his team to victory with five and 2/3 shutout innings, allowing seven hits while allowing four strikeouts and two walks. Phillies counterpart Brett Myers was the loser, going seven innings by giving up seven hits, four runs (three earned) and three walks.

Game 3 will be held at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. The Phillies will start pitcher Jamie Moyer and the Rays will have Matt Garza.
