Won-Dollar Rate Breaks 1,200 Level

With only a few minutes left before the closing of the stock market yesterday, dealers talk on the phones in the dealing room at the main office of Korea Exchange Bank as the won-dollar exchange rate soared to 1,200 at one point. The rate closed at 1,188.
