Prosecutors probing a TV network lobby scandal yesterday summoned for questioning a former TV producer Lee on if he took tens of million won from talent agencies as bribes.
Over concern over his possible escape, investigators requested an arrest warrant and are questioning Lee, a prosecutor said.
Prosecutors grilled him over how he got money from the agencies, and will apply for an arrest warrant today.
Lee is known to have worked for a popular TV program as executive producer, and is suspected of receiving money from several entertainment agencies in return for putting their clients on TV.
He moved to a private production company in 2005 before recently forming his own.
The probe will also target former and current producers who took bribes in return for parts.
