Obama Says KOR-U.S. FTA Not a Smart One

U.S. Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama on Monday reiterated his opposition to the free trade agreement between the United Sates and Korea saying it is not a “smart deal.”

According to NBC 25, a local broadcaster in Michigan, Obama said in his speech in Flint, Michigan, “I don`t think an agreement that allows South Korea to import hundreds of thousands of cars into the United States, but continues to restrict U.S. car exports into South Korea to a few thousand, is a smart deal.”
