“It’s OK to Eat Chicken”

The representatives of poultry farmers’ associations, including the Korea Poultry Association and the Korea Duck Association, hold a demonstration against the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in relation to the bird flu crisis in Nokbeon-dong, northern Seoul. About 600 farmers who took part in the demonstration appealed to citizens to expand consumption as they eat eggs and duck meat, after having a memorial ceremony for slaughtered poultry.
