Russia’s New President

Dmitry Medvedev, former Russian deputy prime minister (second from left), was inaugurated as the fifth president of Russia on Wednesday. Former Russian President Vladimir Putin (left) who attended the inaugural ceremony indicated the new president would maintain his polices, saying, “Staying the course we have already chosen is important for Russia.”
