The leaders of the country`s two main political parties Sunday make their final pleas to voters with the general elections just three days away. The leader of the pro-government Grand National Party, Kang Jae-sup, held a news conference at his party`s headquarter in Seoul to propose a policy debate with the liberal United Democratic Party. Kang stressed the GNP`s need to secure a parliamentary majority. UDP Chairman Sohn Hak-kyu attended a meeting of his party`s election polling committee, saying, “A one-party monopoly should be prevented.”
