“Treating Kim`s Sister and Wife as Accomplices”

Kim Gyeong-jun will be indicted for fund embezzlement and violating trading rules by a special investigation team for the Seoul Central District Court, which has been investigating the BBK stock price manipulation allegedly involving presidential candidate Lee Myung-bak of the Grand National Party. The prosecution is scheduled to announce the investigation result today.

The special investigation team is expected to clear GNP presidential candidate Lee of all the allegations that Kim has claimed.

Mary Lee, a lawyer for Optional Ventures Korea, has recently submitted a request to the prosecution, saying that both Kim’s older sister Erica Kim and Kim’s wife Lee Bo-ra should be accused as accomplice. In response to the request, prosecutors have started vetting the allegations against them.
