Federer Makes GQ’s Men of the Year List

GQ magazine announced its 2007 Men of the Year list, featuring Roger Federer, the tennis emperor from Switzerland.

According to the webpage of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) yesterday, Federer was selected as one of GQ’s Men of the Year, along with New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg, Bill Clinton, Tom Hanks, and Alex Rodriguez.

GQ has been selecting attractive men who are accomplished their field for the past 12 years, and selected 36 men this year.

The honorees were given nicknames: Federer was nicknamed “Court King”; Mayor Bloomberg was nicknamed “Maverick”; Rodriguez was nicknamed “Hit Man”; and Tom Hanks was nicknamed “Icon.”
