Tangerine Stone Statue at Cheonggye Plaza

Children who participated in the “2007 Jeju Tangerine Promotion Festival,” held at Cheonggye Plaza in front of the Dong-A Ilbo building at Sejongno, Jongno-gu, admire Dolharbang, Jeju’s stone statue, a pyramid, and the Eiffel tower, all made by stacking tangerines. At the festival, which is co-sponsored by Jeju City and Jeju Nonghyup and runs through Sunday, citizens can also participate in various events such as “Tangerine Dying” and “Tangerine Soap Making.”
