9 companies will hire 6,200 in the second half of the year

10 major Korean companies are expected to recruit above 6,300 new employees in the second half of this year.

According to Incruit, an online job portal, “9 major companies which announced their recruit plan will hire around 6,260 new employees and the total number of new recruits will increase when companies such as Samsung and LG release their hire plans.”

SK group will recruit university graduates until September 15 and collect resumes of graduates with MBA or Masters Degrees in the field of R&D until September 22. The total number of new employees is expected to be around 800.

Doosan Group is recruiting around 600 new employees until September 16. University graduates with above 500 TOEIC score and with related major can apply.

Hyundai-Kia Automobile group is hiring 700 employees in R&D, production and business sectors. Working locations will be different based upon their application fields.

Hanwha group will recruit new local employees until September 20 and hire graduates with foreign master’s degrees until September 21.

LG group also plans to hire 870 to 960 employees except the electronic and chemistry sectors. The recruiting season vary according to the affiliates.

Lotte group plans to hire from 700 to 1000 and Kumho Asiana Group around 500 while Hanjin Group is expected to recruit 600 employees in the second half.
