Winged Statue of Victory Engulfed by Flame

On August 26, the winged statue of victory in the village of ancient Olympia in southwestern Greece is engulfed by smoke from forest fires. The flame reached near Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games, but there was no damage to Olympic sites, according to the Greek authorities.
