First Harvest: Signs of Fruitful Year

On August 3, the local farmers of Yeoju-gun, Gyeonggi, are smiling happily as they bring in the first harvest of nojibyeo (rice grown on ordinary farmland, not in vinyl houses) this year in Korea off farmland owned by Hong Ki-wan. The rice harvested that day was planted in May this year, and the name of this species is Oljinbu.
