Arriving at The Hague, Netherlands, to speak out for independence from Japan before a peace conference held in the city, three special envoys, Lee Sang-seol, Lee June, and Lee Wi-jong dispatched by the Emperor Gojong must have had heavy hearts. A century has passed since then. On July 14, a Pilgrim Team following the footsteps of the heroes marched in the Dutch city, waving a national flag and singing the national anthem. They made a solemn pledge that they would never let Koreas hurtful history repeat itself again.
