High Security at FTA Talks

Policemen were deployed in and around the Seoul Hyatt Hotel, the location of the next round of Korea-U.S. FTA talks, on March 8. On the morning of the same day, Korean opponents of an FTA deal held a meeting to discuss how to disrupt the negotiations at the Press Center, and, in the afternoon, they held a press conference to express their strong opposition against the trade pact in front of the hotel.
