Damage Check

The inspection team members of the Gangreung hydroelectric power plant of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co are conducting a safety inspection of the Doam dam in the vicinity of Doam-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon Province, the epicenter of the earthquake that occurred on January 20. The team checked any changes between before and after the earthquake with a measuring machine as well as overall external appearances, but no problem was identified. The Soyang River dam and other dams in Gangwon Province were also inspected.
