Sailboat

A 17th century replica of Dutch ship “Duyfken” is met by spectators out at sea before sailing into Sydney Harbour on Wednesday. The ship brought the first Europeans to Australia in 1606. To commemorate the 400th anniversary of the first European contact with Australia, the vessel left Fremantle in Western Australia and took a 12,000km voyage until its arrival in Sydney this day.
