Accident

The front wheel of Hansung Air Flight 205 broke on November 28 and the front part of plane collapsed on runaway. This accident caused six casualties, including flight captain Hong (60) and a passenger, and closed the runway for about two hours. The victims were sent to an adjacent hospital. “The plane fell to the ground with a bump about three times as soon as the plane touched the runaway, and it kept sliding for a long time. The smoke smoldered from cockpit and passengers escaped through open front door,” said Ms. Jeon (25), a passenger. 69 passengers were on the plane, which has capacity of 72 passengers, at the time of the accident.
