Land Riot

Some 300 landless farmers stormed into the Brazilian parliament on June 6, leaving at least 26 injured. The protesters, members of a Brazilian farmers group MLST (Movement to Liberate Landless Peasants) overturned cars and collided with the police, calling for a swift passage of a land reform bill. The police put all of them into custody.
