Family Tragedy

Joint rescue work by civilians and government started on May 28, a day after a deadly earthquake took the lives of 3,700 residents in the island of Java, Indonesia. A rescue worker broke down in tears after finding the body of a six year-old child buried under rubble at Deles village in Klaten.
