Marathon Sandstorm

On April 11, marathoners participating in the 21st Sahara Desert Marathon tackle a sand hill in southern Morocco. The participants are competing in a 230-kilometer course under the scorching sun and sandstorms for seven days. Six hundred marathoners between nine and 71 years old from 32 countries are participating in the race.
