Black Pigs

Drivers on the road at Eohryeong Village in Haman-gun, Gyeongnam Province, pulled their cars off the road yesterday after a horde of black pigs blocked their way. The black pigs were raised near the village by a villager, but were left without an owner following his arrest on March 26 on charges of interference with the execution of official duties. The grievances of the villagers are high, as the pigs make their way into the village at night, feeding on crops including potatoes, sweet potatoes, and corn.
