Drought

Due to the continuing drought, the upper stream of Lake Juam in Boseong County, South Jeolla Province bared its bed yesterday. Lake Juam, the largest water source in Gwangju, South Jeolla Province, is only 31.5 percent full as of March 27, its lowest level since 1990. If it doesn’t rain soon, crops may be damaged.
