San Diego Padres starter Park Chan-ho, who pitched 10 perfect innings for Team Korea in the World Baseball Classic, followed that up with an impressive spring training outing yesterday.

Park took the mound against the Kansas City Royals yesterday in Arizona and struck out seven in four innings. He mixed a fastball clocked at around 150kmph with hard-breaking curves against 19 batters and gave up six hits, walked two, and allowed three runs. Park threw a total of 79 pitches; 47 of them were strikes.

Although San Diego lost 0-7, his performance was more than acceptable.

In other news, Los Angeles Dodgers starter Seo Jae-weong struggled against the St. Louis Cardinals yesterday, allowing eight hits, one walk, and three runs in a 2-4 Dodger loss. Kim Byung-hyun of Colorado is expected to start against San Diego on April 8.
