Turtle Ship Weighs Anchor

The turtle ship restored by the Seoul city government departed from its moorings in Han River Citizen`s Park in Ichon, floating under the railway bridge of the Han River yesterday. The ship is expected to cross the Demilitarized Zone, or DMZ, where the Han River and Imjin River meet, and arrive in Tongyeong, Gyeongnam Province, passing the West Sea and the South Sea around November 13. For all that, the Seoul government has already completed negotiations with North Korea, with the approval of the UN Forces Command.
