CIA Leak Investigation to End This Week

Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald, who has been investigating the “Leak-Gate” scandal (information leakage regarding the identity of covert CIA operatives) over the past two years exits the United States Supreme Courthouse in Washington D.C. on October 26 after meeting with jurors to confirm the indictment of those implicated in the incident. The investigation’s results are expected to be publicized on Thursday or Friday.

White House senior advisor Karl Rove and the vice president’s chief of staff Lewis Libby are among those most likely to be indicted on charges of perjury.
