U.S. Troops Run in Seoul International Peace Marathon

An international peace marathon hosted by Gangnam-gu of Seoul was held yesterday in the Olympic stadium in Seoul. U.S. Army Commander Charles Campbell (middle, front row) and other U.S. soldiers, as well as officials of foreign sister cities of Gangnam-gu participated in the event along with over 20,000 people.

Some of the money raised will be used to form a charity foundation to support the establishment of the Korean War Plaza, which will be built in MacArthur Park in Little Rock, Arkansas. The money raised will also be used to improve food and education conditions in Korea and overseas through UNICEF.
